Should all go according to plan, we will be in the new facility by the early part of September. It will mean that there will be a small gap in regard to a consistent place where we can physically meet, but we have great plans to keep an option each day available for those of you who want to participate. (See more below).
Ideally during that time, we will rent equipment as well as offer at-home programming and outdoor workouts for those of you who wish to stay moving while we transition. We will maintain THIS WEBPAGE current to keep locations, times and updates accurate for those of you continuing on with us.
We have two neighboring gyms who are welcoming Harpoon members who remain members during our time of transition. If you are still a member at Harpoon but would like to continue to be in a gym setting for September, you can visit the following “on the house”:

If you’re interesting in renting equipment, you will be asked to complete a form that looks like this.
If you are unable to participate in any outdoor workouts, cannot take home any equipment, and feel as if your August membership is unjust, then we are offering a discount for the month of August. Since many of your memberships run on different days, your August discount will look like this should you choose to request it. We do ask that you request this discount to be applied five days before your bill is due to ensure we have enough time to process the request. Each line is correlated with the date your bill is typically charged. Click here to view.
No matter where or when we move, the wind down schedule for 1090 (our current address), looks like this:
August 27 will be the last day of classes at 1090 and will include a Harpoon 100, a benchmark workout that will commemorate our 10th Anniversary!
We will pack up and check out equipment that day for those of you willing to store and “borrow” our equipment. We will then begin to take down and remove the rig and flooring, hopefully to install at the new location. We are looking for handy folks August 27-31 to help us disassemble 1090 and build out our new facility. All hands on deck, whether for a few hours or a few days, are GREATLY appreciated.
August 28-31: We will not have an indoor location to workout out in, however, we are sketching together some fun activities should the weather permit: That schedule will look something like this
August 28, Sunday: 7am Beach Workout at Long Sands. Meet at the Bath House
August 29, Monday: Outdoor Workout in 1090’s parking lot at 5:30am & 5pm
August 30, Tuesday: Outdoor Workout in 1090’s parking lot at 5:30am & 5pm
August 31, Wednesday: Outdoor Workout in 1090’s parking lot at 5:30am & 5pm
Sept. 1-Move in Date: Similar to above, but depends on our actual move-in date.
*My goal during these times is to visit some of our amazing members who have locations out and around Southern Maine to help showcase their small businesses! Please let me know if you are interested in hosting a workout one day.
In the fall, we will have a new class schedule, similar to current times, but slightly adjusted to accommodate our new location. Stay tuned for details as soon as we have approval.
